Gynaecological Endoscopy Fellowship in Naples: a clinical training opportunity

The GESEA Training Center of the University Federico II in Naples, directed by Prof. Attilio Di Spiezio Sardo, is one of the most advanced educational hubs in Europe for minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. Accredited by the ESGE, it was the first certified GESEA center in Italy, and remains one of only three national centers authorized to provide level 1 and 2 certifications.

The clinical fellowship offers the chance to work closely with one of the world’s leading experts in hysteroscopy, winner of the AAGL Golden Hysteroscope Award, and author of over 400 peer-reviewed publications. Selected fellows will observe both office-based and surgical procedures, participate in practical training sessions, and contribute to clinical and scientific projects in a dynamic and international setting.

The center includes five dedicated endoscopic workstations, supported by a team of highly qualified local tutors, coordinated by Head Mentor Dr. Francesco Paolo Improda. Monthly GESEA certification sessions and advanced courses in hysteroscopy and laparoscopy are held regularly.
